My birthday is coming up pretty soon..*cough* Sept 13th *cough*…and as usual I know exactly what I want: a spanking new shiny Timex watch. I haven’t owned a watch since I graduated from college in 2005 and its no surprise that I went from being a very punctual person to someone thats permanently late to every single place or event I have to attend.Embarassing,yes but I am determined to break this nasty habit and I’m going to start by getting me a watch.
I’ve never been the flashy type so I don’t want a watch that will be bling-blinging all over the place and attracting unnecessary attention.I live in one of those cities where anything shiny automatically makes you a walking target for thugs so I’ve decided that come September,I want the ultra chic but extremely stylish Core Cavatina from Timex (check it out under the women’s section!).It looks so comfortable and at $34.95,I think its a steal and a rather good investment.
There’s one person I know without a doubt who would absolutely jump at the idea of me getting a Timex watch…mainly because he is a die hard fan of Timex but also because I know just how much my tardiness bothers him.Hmmmm,now that I think about it,maybe I should forward this blog post to him so he can get me my watch (its a recession people and I aint too afraid to beg politely hint at what I need!)
